This painting was done in after I lived in Italy for eight weeks in 2010. I lived in the 13th century town of Corciano while studying plein air painting as part of my pursuit for my Master of Fine Arts degree at Academy of Art University. This painting was based on a view looking down on rooftops of Florence after climbing an incredible amount of stairs with a fellow artist in search of inspiration.
Oil on Canvas, 28 in x 42 in, unframed. The painting is on gallery height stretcher bars with a depth of 1 1/2 in.
This painting will be professionally wrapped and packed for shipping.
I have included shipping for free on everything in the shop. I know shipping costs have kept me from making purchases in the past and I want that to not be an issue here. Shipping is only possible in the contiguous U.S. at this time. If you are interested in an item and are outside of this territory, please contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be sure to make arrangements for you at a reasonable shipping cost.
If you live in the Bay Area, pick up is available for original paintings at my studio in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco, CA. Delivery can also be an option if within a 20 mi radius. Please contact me for more details: email@example.com
