Going Full Circle
Going Full Circle
The original painting has long since sold. Oil on Panel, 24 in x 24 in, Framed. Shown in many shows with multiple art galleries and collectives such as “LUCID” with Dope Dope Dope Art Collective, “Open Late on Larkin” with Fleet Wood, “New Works” at D-Structure, “Anniversary Show” at Wonderland SF and at the art festival KAABOO. The original painting is based on love that endures even after death. Originally created for my first solo show at D-Structure on Haight and Fillmore in San Francisco as part of a larger series on skulls and time. I created a temporary mural installation for the show with the quote from Choke by Chuck Palahniuk: “The unreal is more powerful than the real. Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because it’s only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. If you can change the way people think, the way they see themselves, the way they see the world- you can change the way people live their lives. That’s the only lasting thing you can create.”
The signed prints are available in three sizes: of 5x5, 8x8, 12x12 and 16x16. The painting was professionally photographed by Almac Camera in order to capture the color accuracy and clarity of the brushwork in amazing detail.
5x5 and 8x8 prints are professionally packaged with hard backing and clear sleeve. They will be shipped flat.
12x12 and 16x16 prints are shipped in a mailer tube.
I have included shipping for free on everything in the shop. I know shipping costs have kept me from making purchases in the past and I want that to not be an issue here. Shipping is only possible in the contiguous U.S. at this time. If you are interested in an item and are outside of this territory, please contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be sure to make arrangements for you at a reasonable shipping cost.
