This painting was originally painted in 2015 for simply wanting to pursue the complexity of a floral bouquet and explore the color quinacridone magenta. On a walnut stained and hand-spattered “lazy susan” this was another foray into painting on an unexpected substrate.

This painting was live painted for the Soothe App Launch at WeWork Headquarters in San Francisco, CA. It was also on display for the Frida Kahlo inspired Anniversary Show at Wonderland Gallery in 2017.
